Project Engineer, Limerick

Job Description A Project Engineer is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with our Limerick based medical device manufacturing client. This is a 12-month contract position. Role of this position

1. Perform project management tasks for small to medium scale projects involving either new or existing equipment.
2. Assist in determining the budget to support requirements.
3. Evaluate or assist in evaluating technology necessary to support requirements.
4. Propose options to Management/Customer/Stakeholders.
5. Provide technical support for projects.
6. Support and/or develop and execute equipment or process related validations in accordance with IML requirements, processes and procedures.
7. Assist in negotiation with equipment suppliers.

1. Hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in production, manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
2. 4 years' experience in a relevant engineering role.
3. Prior experience in a GMP or medical device manufacturing environment.
4. Prior experience in equipment and process validation activities.
