Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 2/3 days in the office) We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team and drive new business opportunities. Cognisys is a leading Cyber Security company specialising in Penetration Testing, GRC Consulting, and Managed Security services. About the Role As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities. You will leverage your expertise in lead qualification, networking, and social media to build relationships and drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong cold-calling mentality and a passion for cybersecurity sales. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities through lead qualification, cold calling, networking, and social media outreach.
- Create reliable sales forecasts and provide transparent pipeline status updates to management.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle effectively.
- Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, even outside your immediate area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts and existing account managers, to deliver customised solutions.
- Adapt to additional initiatives and responsibilities as they arise.
- Continuously invest in self-development, focusing on skills and attributes essential for success in the role and future career growth.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products, the cybersecurity industry, and emerging market trends.
- 2+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development within the SaaS industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot.
- Self-starter with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong cold-calling skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
