About the Role : You will be our customers’ first point of contact, helping them understand their needs and strive for booked orders. This means actively listening, handling negotiations, and closing deals. A positive, problem-solving, and curious attitude is critical to delivering the best service possible and reaching sales targets. You will be the voice of the customer across the organization, sharing insights for ongoing product improvements. You will handle sales calls and inquiries by phone, chat, email, and digital channels, managing large volumes with a sense of urgency. Job Qualifications: 1. Motivated and energized sales-oriented person 2. 2-5 years of experience as an “inside sales” agent (of B2B solutions) to north american SMB’s. 3. 1-5 years' experience in the global freight forwarding industry. Ecommerce experience is a plus 4. Proven experience with exceeding sales targets in selling solutions to American businesses (SMB’s) 5. Strong communication, negotiation and listening skills. in English (American accent is a plus) 6. Can-do attitude, energetic, consultative selling/solution-oriented and flexible, with the ability to think outside the box, curious attitude that seeks to find solutions for every customer inquiry. 7. High empathy and dedication to good customer service and active listening. 8. Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn recent technologies and tools, Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce.com is a plus). 9. Team player 10. Must work in alternating/rotational shifts in USA time zone, work in Mumbai office or remote per company decision. Job Responsibilities: 1. Contact (via phone, email and other channels) qualified leads and turn them into customers by assisting them to place their logistics bookings and pay. This requires understanding SMB needs, the global freight forwarding landscape, and the tech platform, composing relevant shipping solutions, and facilitating customer orders and bookings on our digital platform. 2. Follow, report and exceed sales KPI’s and report them daily (booking, calls, emails etc) 3. Assist with prospects’ inquiries, turning them into customers or manage inquiries from existing customers to retain and upsell. 4. Constantly provide customer feedback and/or ideas to improve our platform and sales procedures 5. Work closely with SalesForce CRM (and other inhouse systems) 6.
