We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic individual to oversee and manage the general ledger functions, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and integrity across all accounting operations.

Primary Responsibilities in General Ledger Accounting:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring they reflect the company's financial position and adhere to established accounting principles.
• GL Account Reconciliation: Oversee monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Internal Controls: Develop and implement robust internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Budget Management: Collaborate with department heads to manage budget schedules, ensuring alignment with the company's financial objectives.
• Audit Coordination: Lead the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, addressing any findings with appropriate corrective actions.

Essential Skills and Competencies for a Chief Accountant - GL:

• Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and general ledger functions.
