Job Description:
CAD Technician - Architectural Abu Dhabi, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Technician - Architectural to join our team!What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensure that all designs comply with project specifications, compliance with codes and standards and Developer Guideline standards and requirements.
- Review and evaluate architectural designs, GFA Calculation for compliance with project requirements and regulations. Confirm with accuracy.
- Provide technical analysis and recommendations to ensure design solutions are practical and efficient.
- Revise drawings and plans as requested ensuring that all changes meet the project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and feedback on design reviews.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate drawings.
- Organize and archive completed drawings and project files for easy access by project stakeholders and for future reference.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Diploma in Architectural Drafting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in design review, preferably in the real estate development industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and international building codes and regulations.
- Proficient in design software (AutoCAD).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Software experience of Revit / BIM is advantageous.
