We are looking to hire a Procurement Associate - F&B Sourcing who will be responsible for supporting F&B sourcing activities, from purchase requisition to purchase order processing, for our client based in Dubai—which is one of the largest companies in the region. This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable. The role sits within the Procurement Department and reports directly to the Manager - F&B and OS&E Sourcing. We are looking for a passionate Procurement Associate who can effectively support F&B sourcing operations and contribute to process optimization efforts. You should also have experience in supplier evaluation, procurement operations, and cost management within the F&B industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize F&B sourcing activities to address business procurement priorities effectively.
- Support process optimization and standardization efforts to enhance the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process in coordination with the finance team.
- Prepare RFQs under the guidance of the F&B & OS&E Sourcing Manager and oversee the tendering process for F&B sourcing projects.
- Evaluate suppliers and provide insights to the F&B & OS&E Sourcing Manager for selecting suppliers, particularly for routine, high-volume, low-value goods, and services.
- Assist the F&B & OS&E Sourcing Manager in supplier negotiations, contributing to cost-effective solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Analyze bid evaluations, cost assessments, price justifications, and supplier risk assessments, reporting findings to the F&B & OS&E Sourcing Manager.
- Act as the primary liaison to address supplier inquiries and stakeholder questions regarding F&B sourcing requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and liaise with suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract initiation, evaluation, selection, renewal, and termination.
- Update contractual terms and ensure their implementation, including blanket purchase agreements and additional contractual obligations such as insurance requirements.
- Create and maintain purchase agreements and catalogs to streamline touchless procurement operations.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the F&B industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes, including supplier evaluation and negotiations.
- Experience in managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of cost assessment, bid evaluations, and supplier risk analysis.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools, including ERP platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preference will be given to candidates available immediately.
