About Kimpton Riyadh Located in King Abdullah Financial District, which is set in the heart of the Saudi capital, 22 kilometers away from the airport, Kimpton Riyadh is the first Kimpton in the Middle East bringing the brand’s playful energy, infectious personality, and unique design style to this LEED certified landmark development home to 1.6 million square meters of state-of-the-art office space, world-class venues, and iconic luxury residences. The hotel welcomes guests to experience its 212 guest rooms and suites and to enjoy its unique dining options. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance : Performing regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and control systems, to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Repair Work : Addressing any electrical issues that arise, such as faulty wiring, malfunctioning equipment, or power outages, and making necessary repairs promptly.
- Guest Requests : Responding to guest complaints or requests related to electrical problems in their rooms or other areas of the hotel and resolving these issues efficiently.
- Safety Checks : Conducting safety inspections to ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations and addressing any potential hazards.
- Installation : Installing new electrical systems or upgrading existing ones as needed, which may include setting up new lighting fixtures, electrical panels, or other equipment.
- Energy Management : Implementing energy-saving measures and monitoring the hotel's energy consumption to identify opportunities for reducing energy usage.
- Documentation : Keeping detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including any parts replaced, work performed, and safety checks conducted.
- Collaboration : Working closely with other departments, such as Maintenance and Housekeeping, to coordinate activities and ensure the hotel's operations run smoothly.
- Emergency Response : Being on call to respond to any electrical emergencies that may occur, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations and guest experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification, or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration
- Two to three years’ prior tenure in a similar role
- International luxury hotel chain background
- GCC exposure
- English fluency is required
- Arabic fluency is preferred
