Job details

The Engineer – Electrical is responsible for training, testing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, plant equipment, and electromechanical systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and integrity in Arzan.
  • Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products.
  • Develop manufacturing/reconditioning processes according to standards and engineering codes.
  • Manage projects and ensure timely delivery.
  • Define task needs and requirements.
  • Review innovative test procedures to ensure compliance with Arzan policies and procedures.
  • Assess section resources such as employees and materials and allocate them based on Operations requests.
  • Ensure that all section employees’ responsibilities, duties, and privileges are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Ensure that installations and applications align with job requirements and safety standards.
  • Review modern technical developments and devices that could save time, improve reliability, and enhance workmanship.
  • Collaborate with other department heads and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
  • Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems.
  • Ensure that all section equipment is used, cleaned, stored, and maintained properly as per their manual instructions.
  • Summarize data and report on test results.
  • Examine the need for new equipment, calculate costs, and help prepare budgets.
  • Support the organization in improving profitability by making necessary recommendations and controlling resources.
  • Review, update, and approve training courses designed for new hires to introduce them to work specifications.
  • Conduct energy inspections and suggest alternative energy sources.
  • Assist in resolving issues unique to the project or department program.
  • Perform other related tasks as requested by the line manager.

Internal Communication:
  • Operations and Production Planning Divisions.
External Communication:
  • Research Institutes.
  • Government Agencies as required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering).

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Chemistry and Mining within a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in the English language is required.

  • Achievement of Lab objectives.
  • Increase rate of Lab efficiency through improving employee skills.

  • Completion of Maintenance Orders, 80% Total received Notifications.
  • Total Stoppage of rewinding small motors outside, Complete Stoppage of 9KW and below for outside rewinding motors.
  • Motor Rewinding Activities Manual, Daily-1.
  • Asset Management Motor Records Maintaining in system, 90% Completion of Motor Records.
  • Enhance Facilities for Rewinding and Testing Large Motors, 100% Develop facilities.
  • Safety & Housekeeping Arrangement, 100% daily Update.
