Retail Operations Manager E. Commerce Job Description Our client, a reputable e-commerce company offering online fashion and household shopping experience, is currently seeking a Retail Operations Manager. Role Purpose: The role of the Retail Operations Manager is to:

  1. Oversee the activities of the Operations Associates.
  2. Ensure e-Retailers are on-boarded swiftly once legal documentation is completed.
Key Accountabilities e-Retailer Operations:
  1. Drive counterparts with regular follow-ups to obtain the necessary information for the upload in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure that e-stores are created swiftly once legal documentation is completed.
  3. Ensure accuracy and consistency of contents (product descriptions, product measurements such as weight and dimension, photos, videos, pricing, quantity, etc.) in order to encourage buying.
  4. Develop a training pack and schedule to train e-Retailers on the ‘Retail Central tool’ so they are fully comfortable with inventory management and order fulfillment.
  5. In collaboration with the Operations director, ensure the availability of the right product mix and inventory level at the time of on-boarding.
  6. Manage third-party service providers and introduce them to e-Retailers.
  7. Create a benchmark for the turnaround of different categories.
  8. Lead the Operations Associates in retrieving accurate and necessary product descriptions for different categories.
  9. Conduct research on reputable local and international sites to keep up-to-date and have a better understanding of required standards.
  10. Educate Operations Associates on different aspects of retailing considering the priorities of each industry.
e-Retailer Management:
  1. Schedule regular bi-monthly catch-ups with e-Retailers during the first 3 months to assist them during the first uploads and tackle any potential problems.
  2. Organize an e-Retailer calendar to meet, conduct refresher sessions, and train on new features and functionalities.
  3. Be the first point of contact for the customer service team as e-Retailers raise queries on the Retail Central.
Team Work:
  1. Manage the Operations Associates, set individual goals, provide direction to them, monitor and review performance on a monthly basis to ensure targets are achieved and corrective actions are taken in a timely manner.
  2. Work collaboratively with different internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Technology to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded.
Requirements Person Profile: We are looking for someone who is retail-oriented, preferably from fashion and beauty. Having e-commerce experience would be an advantage. Gross Package / Month: 17,000 to 20,000. Other Benefits: Benefits fully negotiable.
