About the Role A Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations and strategy within a specific geographic zone. This role involves managing sales teams, developing business strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets, leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team
- Drive Home Loan and Loan Against Property (LAP) sales through channel partners, advisors, connectors, and the open market, while effectively liaising with banks and NBFCs for loan processing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across all platforms
- Forge strong partnerships with marketing, product development, and operations to drive sales initiatives. Ensure alignment of sales practices across zones.
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage industry
- 2+ years of experience at a sales leadership role
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to lead a large, diverse sales team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
