What’s in it for you? o Immense exposure and learning o Excellent career growth o Company of highly passionate leaders and mentors o Ability to build things from scratch Know more about MGS: Job Title : IT Infrastructure Management Job Heading We are looking for a passionate individual, having computer science/IT UG/PG background with 10+ Years of experience and expertise in Monitoring, Maintenance, Upgrading, Installation, Configuring, Networks, Servers, Hardware, Software, Security Protocols, Threats, Access Control, Debugging, Documenting, Backing Up, Archiving, Data Retrieval, Recovery, IT Support, IT Administration. Should have experience in client communication on Project Management of IT Infrastructure. Desirable Profile · Total Relevant Experience: 10+ years. · Client communication experience is a must. Past experience should include Top tier IT Companies. · Technical Skills: L2 protocols, Network Infrastructure, Windows Server, Linux server, DNS, TCPIP, SMTP Email Server configuration, load balancer. SQL Server database administration. · Good communication skills and logical ability is mandatory. · Project Management certifications are an added advantage. Other Roles and Responsibilities · MCSE, CCNA, or similar certifications desirable. · Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution. · Troubleshoot and resolve issues through sharing best practices and direct resolution. · Excellent written and verbal communication and effective organizational and multi-tasking skills. Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and train others. · Should be flexible to work in an operational environment, rotational shifts and on-call schedule. · The knowledge of network, firewalls, load balancer, API gateway, flapping, Network monitoring, coordinating with network vendor, last mile. · Deep understanding of TCPIP and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS, DHCP and other networking services. · Good work experience in L2 protocols testing (VLAN, IGMP, ARP, 802.1x, QoS, DHCP, PPPoE, IPV6)· Experience in windows server administration, Installation, Troubleshooting and technical support. · Advanced knowledge in RAID configuration. · L2 System Engineering Support for IT Infrastructure Web Hosting Platforms · Expertise in Windows 2008, 2012,2016,2019 System administration · Understanding of SQL and DB admin knowledge. · Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Patch Management, User management to create and manage users, groups, renaming groups, deleting groups Monitoring, configuring and maintaining Windows systems and servers. · Proficient in ITIL processes in managing incidents, problems, and change management. · DR Server management and sync with primary location. · SMTP Email Server configuration and management. · Coordinating with different department for getting the operational work done. Handling multiple minor and major incidents/calls received with Remote support. · Experience in troubleshooting Windows OS, office, Email · Experience in troubleshooting Office 365. · Basic understanding of Active Directory. · Access management of IT Assets. · SQL Server Software installation and Maintenance, Database Backup and Recovery, Security, Authentication, Capacity Planning, Performance Monitoring, Database Tuning, Troubleshooting. · Manage SQL Server databases, Ids and Passwords. · Configure, maintain and monitor database servers, processes, system's health and performance. · Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security. · Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time and Provide suggestions for solutions. · Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. · Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement. · Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours. · SQL server patching, Migration, and upgradation. · Good knowledge on SQL Agent and other SQL services. · Understanding of compliance baselines and the significance of those baselines. · Hands-on knowledge on in any of the storage management applications like Storage Essentials, ECC etc. · System administration experience on HPUX or Sun Solaris, and knowledge on Volume Manager Concepts would be an added value. · In depth Knowledge on ITIL processes like Incident management, Problem Management, Configuration management and Change Management processes. · Certification on HP Storage technology is an added advantage. · DR Server management and sync with primary location. · Other general responsibilities as instructed by management.
