So that to support the plan, We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced end-to-end business analyst to join our team and focus on troubleshooting POS (point of sale) transaction-related issues. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify and resolve technical issues that impact our POS transactions. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to analyze transactional data, investigate issues, and develop and implement solutions to ensure smooth and efficient POS operations. Experience : 6 - 10 Years Location : Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore Main Skill Set : Any Programming skill (C++, C#, Java, Python) Mandatory Skill : Cards and payments experience Day-to-Day Responsibilities​ Being an end-to-end IT/Functional Analyst for Troubleshooting F2F transactions that initiate from various channels (POS terminals, SoftPOS, etc.) Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, business team, and customer service to understand and address POS transaction-related challenges and issues. Analyze transactional workflows, data, and systems to identify root causes of issues and inefficiencies. Create and maintain documentation related to troubleshooting procedures, issue resolution, and system improvements. Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators and track the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on best practices for troubleshooting POS transaction issues. Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to POS systems and transaction processing to drive continuous improvement. Supporting projects from beginning to end as functional and application specialists for the solutions. Ensure the E2E integrity of the software of our authorization systems, validate quality of software delivered by various teams Assist the Project Manager, other internal and external (i.e. clients) stakeholders in the production and maintenance of project plans and related governance activities Acquire and maintain a solid knowledge of the technologies used for our product development Training and education of other team members Who Are We Looking For We look for big thinkers. In practice this means: 8+ overall work experience as a Business Analyst in the Payment domain and software development, with the majority of it being in the area of electronic payments. Proven experience as a business analyst, preferably in the financial services industry, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving POS transaction-related issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meticulously investigate complex issues and propose effective solutions. University degree (master / bachelor) in computer science or similar qualification High level of Quality paired with Service Oriented Mindset Linux knowledge as User, C++ Code reading capabilities for Analysis purpose and SQL reading and writing capabilities combined with basis shell scripting capabilities Structured and analytical way of working and distinct ability to do presentations Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, as well as the ability to interpret and utilize transactional data to drive decision-making. Understanding of POS systems, transaction processing, and retail operations is beneficial. Ability to work in dynamic situations with short timelines and strict deadlines Good experience in Agile/Scrum in a complex and international environment Knowledge about payment domain and/or cloud services and/or Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment would be beneficial Knowledge of the scheme protocol (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners, etc.) and ISO 8583 would be an advantage Please share your updated CV - shalini.d@worldline.com
