Role: Assistant Resort Manager Job Summary: The Assistant Resort Manager will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role involves managing staff, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring that all departments work cohesively to deliver high-quality service. The Assistant Resort Manager will also contribute to strategic planning and development to enhance the hotel's reputation and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Guest Services: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure guests have an outstanding experience from check-in to check-out. Staff Management: Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing support and development opportunities. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service across the resort. Financial Management Budgeting: Assist in managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and controlling costs to ensure financial goals are met. Revenue Management: Work with the Resort Manager to develop strategies to maximize occupancy rates and average daily rates (ADR). Strategic Planning Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate on marketing initiatives to attract and retain guests. Participate in the development of promotional campaigns. Guest Satisfaction: Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Administrative Duties Reporting: Prepare and present reports on operational performance, financial results, and guest satisfaction to the Resort Manager. Compliance: Ensure the resort complies with all local laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Young and result oriented candidates with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role, preferably in a boutique or 5-star luxury resort/ setting will be preferred. Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in hotel management software. Fluent in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage. Personal Attributes: High level of professionalism and integrity. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Environment: This position involves working in a high-paced, guest-focused environment. It requires standing for long periods, managing stressful situations, and adapting to various shifts.
