Accountant The Role We are currently looking for an Accountant to be part of our finance team. As an accountant, your main responsibilities include but are not limited to: day to day accounting works like verify Invoices, Data Entries, Cash Receipts & Payment. You'll be doing Full Set of accounts and financial year statement. Responsibilities: -· To support the manager on the development of the finance function as the business grows, including managing junior staff, offering development and guidance as necessary and deputising for the manager as and when required; · To assist the manager in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and the on-going monitoring of these items; · Handle full set of accounts and prepare financial reporting for review · Perform day to day financial transactions, including accounts receivables and accounts payables duties · Posting of transactions to journals, ledgers, and other record · Ensure receipts are properly recorded and to reconcile AR Aging to ensure completeness and accuracy · Record suppliers’ invoices and prepare payments · Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes · Perform month end closing and prepare monthly financial statements including quarterly and annual accounts · Prepare GST reports for quarterly submission · Prepare audit schedule · Hands-on experience with liaising with auditors and managing audit · Compute taxes and prepare tax returns · Assist in any liaising with corporate secretary, ad-hoc reports and any other duties as assigned Requirements: -
- Degree or Diploma holder in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as Senior executive or Accountants
- Working experience inmultinational companies and with remote teams
- Experience with Singapore GSTfiling
- Experience with managing intercompany transactions.
- In-depth understanding of general accounting principles.
- Good interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to details.
