The Reservations Manager plays a critical role in achieving occupancy targets and driving revenue growth.- Maximise Occupancy Levels : Review and revise revenue strategies to maximise occupancy levels.
- Develop Future Business Opportunities : Collaborate with the Sales and Events Teams to develop future and repeat business opportunities.
- Manage Third-Party Sites and Agents : Manage third-party sites and agents to establish rates, negotiate prices, and ensure proper implementation of reservations procedures.
- Sell Hotel Rooms : Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel and manage the department's adherence to achieving that strategy.
- Stay Ahead in the Market : Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market.
- Team Development : Develop Team Members effectively and promote a culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts.
- Culture of Excellence : Build strong relationships with customers, Guests, and Team Members to gain a full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.
- Recruitment and Training : Assist in the recruiting, managing, training, and developing of the Team.
- Promotional Activities : Participate in the organisation of hotel promotional activities.
