- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Provide detailed information on menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Address guest inquiries, anticipate needs, and resolve concerns promptly.
- Ensure guests are aware of seasonal or special offers to enhance their experience.
- Actively upsell food, beverages, and promotions to maximize sales.
- Promote high-margin or seasonal items based on guest preferences.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing team to highlight key products and events.
- Use marketing materials (e.g., flyers, digital content) to inform guests of offers.
- Work with Sales & Marketing team to align on monthly/seasonal promotions.
- Provide guest feedback and sales data to inform marketing strategies.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new promotional campaigns.
- Assist in executing marketing initiatives such as loyalty programs and special events.
- Promote the restaurant's brand, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, including specials, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Offer personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary needs.
- Stay up-to-date on food & beverage trends and share relevant recommendations with guests.
- Track sales, guest preferences, and promotional performance.
- Provide feedback on guest behavior and product performance to Sales & Marketing.
- Share insights with management on sales trends and customer feedback.
- Work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house staff for seamless service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to fulfill guest orders.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing team on menu launches and promotional efforts.
- Participate in team meetings and training related to sales targets and promotions.
- Represent the restaurant's brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Ensure marketing materials are consistent with the restaurant's branding.
- Participate in community events and sponsorships to raise brand awareness.
- Assist with reservations, group bookings, and special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned to enhance the guest experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or marketing is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in food & beverage.
- Upselling or sales experience preferred.
- Experience working with a Sales & Marketing team in hospitality is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales ability with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborative team player, able to work with various departments.
- Proficient in POS systems and restaurant-related software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails.
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to manage a busy, high-volume environment while staying calm under pressure.
