Visual Merchandiser

The focus of this role will be to create and ensure stores look clean, crisp, and attractive with a creative flair, capable of driving sales performance to optimum levels through effective product placement and visual display, in line with Brand guidelines and current trends. Responsibilities:
- Involvement and communication in the forward planning and development of the Brand VM monthly guidelines and execution of the stores for their specific areas.
- Provide guidance to store staff in terms of standards of brand delivery and coaching and feedback to in-house merchandising.
- Promote brand image whilst complying with Visual Merchandising standards.
- Conceptualize Brand Standards within windows and stores in line with Brand requirements and local events.
- Receive feedback and ongoing evaluation on ideas and communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
- Be Sale and Brand focused whilst being mindful of the necessity to be cost-sensitive, where suitable.
- Coach/guide the store personnel about the importance of visual merchandising/awareness.
- Visit all stores/concessions regularly to ensure that the Brand concept is being correctly implemented and communicated within the necessary timeframes.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor an inventory management system that includes necessary equipment (i.e., mannequins, props, etc.).
- Review current VM equipment inventory regularly and communicate feedback to the VM manager.
- Manage cost and purchase of VM props through sourcing suppliers in and around the UAE, or where necessary.
- Provide a presentation to store managers regarding the appropriate VM for individual stores for new collection launches and special events.
- Assist in store openings with regards to ordering, tracking, layout, and execution.
- 3-5 years experience within the VM or fine arts field.
- Intermediate – Advanced skills across the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is an asset.
