Contract and Work Pattern : Full Time & Remote/Hybrid Job Overview: This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing our rapidly expanding Workiva consulting team. As a Senior Consultant, you will work directly with clients, engaging in the sales process and delivering technology-driven consulting projects that support their growth. Internally, you will enhance our consulting methodology, develop intellectual property, and expand our capabilities into Risk and ESG reporting. You will collaborate with a high-performing consulting team to achieve project goals while taking on commercial responsibility for delivery. This role is ideal for someone who combines technology, accounting, and people skills. You’ll work with a diverse client base, from household-name banks to smaller pre-IPO organisations, ensuring that no two days are the same.
- Lead the delivery of consulting projects that meet clients’ business objectives while fostering strong relationships to grow accounts. You will run internal and external cadences to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Actively participate in and oversee the hands-on design & delivery of project tasks, ensuring successful execution of project plans, workflows, and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to enhance our consulting processes, maximise business value for clients, and create intellectual property within Workiva.
- Act as an account manager across multiple projects, serving as a point of escalation when needed.
- Collaborate with the APAC Director and Practice Leads to strengthen and grow relationships with technology partners, including exploration of new partnerships.
- Line-manage consultants to support their consistent professional development.
- Work with the APAC Director and Practice Leads to scope, propose, and close prospects.
- Ideally a chartered or qualified accountant.
- Experience in finance consulting or within a finance team.
- Understanding of SQL (desirable).
- Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
- Professional and diligent approach to all client engagements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Risk-aware with a proactive mitigation style.
- Results-oriented, motivated, and self-driven.
