We might be biased but we believe our team here at Goodman Fielder is an amazing place to work, and a great team to be part of! We're driven by our values - We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff Done. The Opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a People & Culture Business Partner to work alongside the Site Leadership teams of our two Dairy manufacturing sites in Palmerston North and baking sites in Hawkes Bay and Wellington. You will help drive delivery to business strategy by contributing to business plans and implementing P&C initiatives across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, training and development, and recruitment. To achieve this, your responsibilities will include:
  • Drive a culture of performance and accountability across the sites by partnering with leadership teams on the Performance and Development cycle planning.
  • Lead culture and engagement initiatives to improve retention, engagement, and performance.
  • Work with lead teams to identify talent, assist in creating targeted development plans, and develop clear succession plans for critical roles.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment strategy, attraction of talent, and ensuring alignment to budget and headcount constraints.
Is this the right role for you? To make this role a success we are looking for an experienced People & Culture professional with strong business partnering experience in a manufacturing environment. A solid background in Employee and Industrial Relations will be crucial. What we would like to see in your application:
  • A working knowledge of legislation and regulations as it relates to HR, ER, and IR.
  • Track record of influencing and driving a high-performance culture through coaching leaders in all aspects of people and talent.
  • An ability to work under pressure with dispute and conflict resolution skills.
