Tools Specialist

Job Title : Performance-Monitoring & Analytics-Consultant Location : Pune Shift timings : 12.30PM to 9.30PM IST Interview : 2 rounds Job Description: Infra PM&A Major Duties : 1. Participate in the design, configuration, development, integration, testing, implementation, documentation and support of Infrastructure & Application Monitoring environments 2. Help oversee the health of monitoring environment by keeping current with upgrades and patches and by troubleshooting and resolving issues with associated tools 3. Assist on troubleshooting, analysis, and solution of unexpected systems behaviors that impact the quality of service 4. Work with application teams to gather requirements and ensure proper instrumentation 5. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact 6. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees 7. May manage daily operational activities 8. More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas 9. Knowledge on private and public cloud is highly preferred. 10. Strong knowledge on scripting language like Python, terraform 11. Delivers a work product that requires less revision 12. Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions Knowledge : • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required • Highly flexible and adaptable to change • Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot issues • Excellent organization skills, detail and process oriented • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, CA’s APM Suite, HP’s SiteScope, Zabbix, Nagios, System Center Operations Manager, etc; application or infrastructure monitoring and DCM tools like Device42, Avocent DSView etc • Knowledge of monitoring middleware including WebLogic and/or .Net application servers, MQ Series, and databases Exp : Level 3 (Overall 8 to 12 years of exp ) Must have Skills: 7+ years of relevant exp in the below skills Dynatrace Python & Terraform Zabbix Nagios Nice to have skills: CI/CD Pipelines Device42 HP’s SiteScope Experience : • A College or University degree in Computer Science and/or relevant proven work experience is required. Experience with monitoring tools on multiple platforms and operating systems preferred. Experience installing and administering monitoring applications in Unix, Linux, and Windows environments including debugging and command line
