About the Job As a Technology Business Process Specialist, being part of the Technology & Innovation department, this role is responsible for defining, writing, and maintaining the processes and procedures supporting all Engineering activities within the TSS Aerospace Technology group. Will primarily support the Aerospace Global Value stream and the Technology Services & Innovation departments to ensure Reliable and Efficient process across the whole Aerospace Engineering activities. In addition, she/he will support the maintenance of the Quality management system of these related engineering processes. Roles & responsibilities:
- Conduct global harmonization of engineering processes related to product development across the 5 Global Aerospace Value Streams.
- Definition and maintenance of the high-level process bridging every engineering specific activities into a consistent and certified overall process
- Support the roll-out of APQP across the Aerospace engineering organization, by adapting the current process to each individual Value stream and writing the detailed procedures.
- Define and maintain processes and procedures related to the Test and qualification of TSS Aerospace Products and materials. Supported by the process owners of this activity.
- Define and maintain processes and procedures related to Research & Development for TSS Aerospace technologies. Supported by the process owners of this activity.
- Maintain processes and procedures related to Project Management for TSS Aerospace technologies. Supported by the process owners of this activity.
- Ensure processes and procedures defined are consistent with the supporting systems used by engineering end-users (PLM, ERP…etc). This task will be achieved by a strong collaboration with the System Architect and iterative amendments of processes & systems.
- Continuous improvement of the procedures related to audit findings and adaptation to market new requirements.
- Continuous improvement of processes and procedures related to process owner feedback for a purpose of performance optimization in process execution.
- Bachelor’s degree or additional 4+ years of relevant experience required; engineering or other relevant technical degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the Engineering Process in Aerospace industry.
- Must be a strong communicator and possess a good level of energy and drive
- Ability to define, establish, and improve business processes.
- Lab Testing Tools processes and standard
- Aerospace standards, and knowledge related to Engineering Activities: AS9100, AS13100, APQP.
- Strong technical aptitude within the scope of the role.
- Relationship Building: Encouraging strong connections with stakeholders.
- Dedication: Staying committed to project goals despite challenges.
- Global role with international and national travels and off site working required.
- Up to 30% travel per year (Domestically and overseas)0
