Assistant Manager (Ship Repair) - Planning

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

1. Responsible for Project Planning, Progress monitoring and controlling of Project.
2. Review Scope of work and segregate defect list department wise and ship zones.
3. Identify long lead Procurement items and Resource requirements in Coordination with all team members.
4. Identify process improvement areas and suggest alternate production methods, modify or improve supervision methods for improvements and timely completion of projects.
5. Coordinate with all stake holders, customers and identify risk areas
6. Prepare schedules & monitor the progress using MS Project.
7. Prepare and Present Project progress for Management reviews and customer. Record action points and coordinate with all stakeholders for timely closure.

Should be from shipbuilding/Refits industry in the role of planning/production/Quality for minimum of 5 yrs. Coordinate with all team members, customers, Third party agencies vendors and suppliers to meet project requirements. Good Communication skills Should be well verse with software tools like, MS Project, MS Office.
