Design Specialist

Who We Are We’re Silq (), an early-stage tech startup on a mission to innovate global logistics. As we scale, we're looking for a creative powerhouse to define and execute across multiple touchpoints, blending brand storytelling with conversion-driven design. The Role - Contract to Hire position This role will report into the Growth Marketing Lead. We’re looking for a resourceful, high-ownership “all-round” designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly move between brand, motion, social, and marketing design . You’ll play a critical role in shaping how Silq presents itself visually, both to potential customers and to the world. This role is perfect for someone who can take an idea from concept to execution with minimal oversight. In other words, a self-starter with a sharp eye for design that builds both brand awareness and sales conversion. Key Responsibilities

• Brand Design: Develop compelling visual assets, including product abstractions for websites, marketing materials, and brand guidelines.
• Motion Design: Create engaging short video clips, GIFs, and animations to bring our brand and messaging to life.
• Social Media Design: Design high-impact social content, including IG/LinkedIn posts, carousels, and shareable graphics.
• Marketing & Sales Design: Support the GTM team with well-designed sales decks, one-pagers, email design, and other conversion-focused assets.

• Design Generalist Mindset: You love wearing multiple hats and working across different mediums to multiply your impact.
• Data-Informed Creativity: You balance aesthetics with strategic design that drives engagement and conversion.
• Ownership & Initiative: You take a project from idea to execution with minimal guidance.
• Strong Visual Storytelling: Ability to craft visually compelling narratives that both captivate and convert.
• Fast Execution, High Quality: You work quickly without sacrificing quality, iterating rapidly in a startup environment with strong attention to detail.

• Descript (for video and audio editing)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Acrobat)
• Figma (for digital/web design)
• Canva (for lightweight marketing assets)
• Motion Design Tools (After Effects, Lottie, or similar)
