Commercial Lines Insurance Development Underwriter We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter specializing in Commercial Lines products. This role offers the opportunity to develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers while managing an assigned portfolio of business. Key Responsibilities: Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with broking partners, positioning yourself as their preferred partner for new business quotations and placements. Account Management: Oversee renewals and account management for an assigned portfolio within the commercial line product space. Underwriting Decisions: Make day-to-day underwriting decisions within established guidelines and authority limits, providing multifaceted underwriting solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Communication: Maintain effective communication with brokers and internal teams to facilitate new business growth and a thorough understanding of the Singapore insurance market. Operational Improvements: Identify areas for service and operational enhancements, sharing valuable insights with your peers to foster continual improvement. Regulatory Compliance: Manage underwriting caseloads in accordance with regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to due process and authority limits. Product Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of commercial lines products and your strong broking network to enhance business opportunities and support ongoing success. Qualifications: Proven experience in underwriting within a commercial line insurance portfolio in Singapore. Strong product knowledge and established relationships in the broking community. Demonstrated ability to manage an underwriting portfolio and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
