Junior Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to assist in managing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. In this role, you will support senior project managers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issue resolution.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Utilize Jira and other project management tools to track progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Taking things to closure by meeting definition of done criteria
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Defines project value proposition, scope, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for information technology projects.
• Take ownership of project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial goals are met.
• Drives all aspects of IT Project and Portfolio activity, including collaborating and coordinating across all IT and business segments.
• Implement cost control measures and provide accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Drives the development and execution of project plans by working with the project team to define, sequence, and estimate duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives.
• Ensures development stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and all related documentation are timely and complete, supporting development, testing, and user acceptance activities
• Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, ensuring optimal utilization of team members' skills and expertise.
• Manages all aspects of the project execution including: chartering, scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, change control, risk management and reporting.
• Implement quality assurance measures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client and organizational expectations.
• Makes recommendations for Process Improvements and/or Application Reliability Management.
• Provides input into evaluation of project team members.
• Works under specific direction of IT Managers or Program Managers.
• Has interaction with internal customers (i.e., Product Owners, Business Analysts, etc.).

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets
• Well versed in scrum practices.
• Extremely good deal between Development team and Product Owner.
• Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and navigate challenges effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
• Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
• Individuals should have strong analytical, problem solving, people management and influencing skills.
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency in project management tools such as Jira.
