Position Description The role of Payroll Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that payroll policies, processes and procedures are implemented across the Group. The role ensures the smooth and efficient running of a busy high volume payroll function that manages, and processes payroll runs across ROI, UK and International. Confidentiality is critical for this role. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the role will include: Manage a team of staff to deliver payroll runs to stringent scheduleddeadlines and ensuring accuracy of data. Vital audit and governance role ensuring that inputs are verified prior to payroll runs. Ensure all appropriate controls are in place for effective payroll operation. Ensure PAYE and Revenue data is updated and compliant. Liaising with Third Parties (e.g. Revenue, Dept. of Social Protection on payroll related issues on a regular basis. Lead and manage the performance and service delivery quality of payroll. Working with various line/senior managers on a professional and confidential basis. Support and development of the capacity of their team. Experience and Qualifications Essential A relevant Payroll Qualification (e.g. IPASS) Strong analytical capability Good business writing, communication interpersonal and presentation skills Ability to work on own initiative Expert knowledge in SAP S/4 software Desirable Working knowledge of payroll principles Strong numeracy skills Strong strategic thinking ability and high level of confidentiality Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation. Proven leadership, relationship management and influencing skills Understanding of related legislation and procedures Location This role will be primarily based in F27 Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2.
