Open Application for Adjunct Faculty American International University (AIU), Kuwait invites open applications for adjunct faculty positions across various schools for the 2024-2025 academic year . We are looking for passionate educators to teach undergraduate courses in the following areas:

• School of Architecture and Design : Graphic Design and Interior Design Faculty.
• School of Engineering and Computing: Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering.
• School of Arts and Sciences: English Writing, Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Biotechnology.

Position Overview : Adjunct faculty members will be responsible for teaching courses in their respective disciplines, assisting with course development, and contributing to the academic growth of AIU’s students. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted when opportunities that match their qualifications and expertise become available. Qualifications :

• Master’s degree or higher (Ph.D. preferred for some subjects) in the relevant field.
• Proficient communication skills in English.
• University teaching experience in the subject matter.
• Industry experience in teaching field.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching.

Responsibilities :

• Teach courses up to 2 courses (6 credit hours).
• Provide mentorship and academic advising to students.
• Collaborate with faculty in curriculum development.
• Actively contribute to the intellectual and cultural growth of AIU’s academic community.
