Job Title: Chief / Head Concierge About the Role: The Chief / Head Concierge is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of concierge services, including bell desk activities and staff. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, outstanding communication skills.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Concierge to join our team at Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel. As the focal point of the Abraj Al Bait Complex, our hotel is an iconic symbol of hospitality in the Holy City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct Concierge, Bell Desk activities and Bell Staff as well as Doormen, Valet Parking and airport transportation requirements.
  • Provide information on all hotel services, local places of interest, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours and other guest-related information.
  • Recommend hotel-owned Food and Beverage outlets before outside restaurants, with knowledge of operating times and cuisine.
  • Ensure lobby cleanliness and ashtray maintenance.
  • Prepare efficient work schedules for Concierge, Doorman, and Bell Services, considering project occupancy and large group movements.
  • Maintain staff neatness, punctuality and performance efficiency.
  • Handle guest problems and liaise with department heads or executive management as needed.
  • Maintain departmental standards and procedures through thorough training.
  • Conduct probation and performance appraisal discussions, providing constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as Chief / Head Concierge.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
