Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil works, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring alignment with project specifications. Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Measurement and Valuation: Conduct measurements and valuations of work completed, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards. Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions. Interim Payment Applications: Prepare and submit Interim Payment Applications (IPAs), ensuring timely processing and accuracy in claims. Site Inspections: Perform regular site visits to assess progress, verify work quality, and ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards. Reporting: Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow statements to keep project management informed of financial status. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and coordination. Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects, with a strong understanding of construction processes. Skills: Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
