Job Summary Zurich Middle East is part of Zurich Insurance Group, one of the world’s largest and most experienced insurers. Our mission is to help our local community understand and protect themselves from risk both locally and globally. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Support Consultant will drive the strategic direction of global operations. They will direct, coordinate, and develop all global operations aspects in the organization and will be accountable for operational performance.

Job Accountabilities

As Operations Support Consultant, your role will involve:
  1. Shaping and driving the group’s strategic operations vision, planning, and implementation delivery.
  2. Taking accountability for operational performance across a portfolio of operational priorities.
  3. Leading and driving improvements in performance levels and excellence in operational execution ensuring profitable growth and competitive strength.
  4. Defining the governance structure and providing leadership, management, and control for all global operational activities and setting goals for operational performance.
  5. Collaborating with regional and country COOs to optimize all cross-functional opportunities.

Job Qualifications

To be successful in your role, you will need:
  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent), and 1 or more years of experience in a related field.
  2. Understanding of Insurance, corporate savings and pensions / end of service benefits being strongly preferred.
  3. Previous experience working within an international and diverse cultural organization would be beneficial.
Skills:
  1. Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  2. Enterprise Governance and Internal Controls.
  3. Accuracy and Attention to details.
  4. Customer Understanding.
  5. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office packages– Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal in English.
