A dispatcher coordinates and supervises the delivery of goods or services from storage to the destination. Its main objective is to ensure that the clearance process is carried out safely and efficiently, guaranteeing delivery times in accordance with regulatory regulations and established quality standards. Responsibilities

  1. Plan and schedule deliveries and dispatches, optimizing routes and resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  2. Maintain constant communication and coordination with clients, carriers, suppliers, and other internal teams to ensure that all aspects of the shipment are carried out according to the plan, schedules, and delivery routes.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse department to ensure product availability, conduct regular inventories, and reconcile discrepancies.
  4. Ensure that all shipments comply with local, national, and international regulations, including safety, environmental, transportation standards, and company policies, including certificates and permits.
  5. Analyze dispatch processes, develop, and implement procedures and technologies that improve dispatch efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  6. Generate periodic reports on dispatch performance, including key metrics such as delivery times, costs, and customer satisfaction levels.
  7. Collaborate with other departments such as sales, warehouse, and logistics to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  8. Identify and resolve problems or delays in the dispatch process, seeking quick and effective solutions, generating trust with the client.
Qualifications
  1. 2+ years of experience in a Dispatcher position.
  2. Knowledge of inventory management.
  3. Experience in roles dispatching, logistics, scheduling, coordination, and customer services.
  4. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with drivers, customers, and team members clearly and effectively.
  5. Negotiation and time management skills, and multitasking abilities.
  6. Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise during the dispatch process, such as delays or logistical challenges.
  7. Making informed decisions under pressure to ensure efficient operations.
