Duties and Responsibilities Development Support:
- Understand and analyze project specifications, BOQs, product selection, estimations, and technical details.
- Prepare commercial offers, technical submittals, and commercial & technical analysis.
- Conduct communication with lighting suppliers.
- Assist in planning, developing, and coordinating integrated interior and exterior architectural lighting design solutions in conjunction with sales.
- Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to oversee construction projects from start to finish.
- Assemble document packages and develop drawing sets to be reviewed by electrical engineer or sales.
- Prepare material submittals, methods of statements, cables, and electrical schedules.
- Responsible for the project development schedule and ensuring submissions before deadlines.
- Track and analyze competition and market pricing.
- Manage the timeline and budget for the project, ensuring that deadlines are met, and funds are not exceeded.
- Maintain and develop suppliers and client relationships.
- Provide technical solutions to address customer requirements, assess customers' met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
- Coordinate with the Development and Sales department for making BOQ and design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Previous experience within the lighting design industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of working on 3D modeling programs (3DMax, Sketch Up, etc.) and image editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
