The Hostess will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This includes greeting guests upon arrival, managing waitlists, and coordinating with the dining staff to provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle busy situations with grace. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with information about the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests.
- Coordinate with dining staff to ensure efficient service.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
- Previous experience as a Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in reservation management software is a plus.
