Job Title: Solution Design Architect (Banking Technology) Location: Saudi Arabia Industry: Banking & Financial Services Experience: 16+ years in IT (8+ years in Banking/Financial domain)

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Design Architect to lead and shape the technological future of a leading financial institution in Saudi Arabia. This role bridges Enterprise Architecture and Implementation Teams , driving innovation , ensuring robust solutions , and contributing to transformative banking products .

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and drive the technology architecture vision aligned with business goals.
  • Lead solution design across various projects, ensuring future scalability and security.
  • Optimize existing systems and integrate emerging technologies for innovation.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between Enterprise Architects and Implementation Teams .
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions .
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with integration teams for scalable and resilient enterprise solutions.
  • Design and oversee the development of microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions .
  • Utilize monitoring tools (Dynatrace, etc.) to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Evaluate and enhance batch processing systems and mainframe-based applications .
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and developers , fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Lead cross-functional technical discussions to drive solutions to completion.

Key Skills & Technical Expertise:

Programming & Frameworks:

Proficiency in Java, Python, and Cobol for application development. Deep expertise in Spring, Spring Boot for building scalable banking solutions. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) . Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments . In-depth knowledge of Microservices and API-driven architectures . Experience with batch processing optimization and maintenance . Expertise in Mainframe Systems and legacy modernization .

Monitoring & Performance Management:

Proficiency in Dynatrace or similar Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.

Domain Expertise:

Core Banking Systems integration experience. Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) . Understanding of Treasury Backend systems, General Ledger (GL), and enterprise solutions (Murex, etc.) .

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven leadership skills in driving large-scale technology initiatives. Exceptional problem-solving & analytical abilities for data-driven decision-making. Strong knowledge of banking security protocols & compliance regulations . Ability to adapt and incorporate emerging trends & technologies .
