Responsibilities

Perform analysis and simulations to validate design performance, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics.
Create mechanical components, systems, and products in line with project requirements and specifications.
Utilize analysis and simulations to verify the performance of designs, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis.
Collaborate effectively with electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and project managers to ensure the smooth integration of mechanical designs throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
Conceptual Design: Develop and evaluate conceptual designs for new products and systems.
Conduct feasibility studies and perform preliminary design calculations.
Generate 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
Detailed Design: Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and other relevant engineering calculations.
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
Create and maintain detailed design documentation.
Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the fabrication and assembly of prototypes.
Conduct testing and analysis of prototypes to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze test data and make necessary design modifications.
Project Management: Contribute to project planning and scheduling.
Monitor project progress and identify potential roadblocks.
Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders.
Research & Development: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and design technologies.
Conduct research and development activities to improve existing designs and explore new technologies.

Skills

Knowledge of engineering analysis and simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) for design validation.
Established experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or in a similar capacity.
Comprehensive understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and various manufacturing techniques.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo).
Strong understanding of engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with construction Healthcare industries.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Experience with project management methodologies.
