Service Manager Location: Staffordshire Salary: £60,000-£70,000 base salary + 40-50% bonus The Company We are currently partnering with a leading global provider of critical power solutions, serving a wide range of customers from large commercial enterprises to the defence industry. This organisation has been operating for over 40 years and are now worth £50million, offering services covering everything from design and manufacturing through to rental and maintenance. Following the acquisition of the business in 2023, the rental operations division alone has seen almost 200% growth and are set to grow by a further £2million in 2025. As a result, they are looking to recruit a Service Manager with immediate effect. The Role The role of Service Manager will involve overseeing and driving the growth of their rental operations division. This is a key role for a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for leading teams and optimizing service delivery in a fast-paced environment. As the Service Manager you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of nearly 30 professionals responsible for the rental side of the business, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and service excellence.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day operations, ensuring all projects for rental equipment are properly planned, and all maintenance schedules are prepared to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction across all rental services, from SLA setting and enforcing all contractual agreements, through to ensuring all RAMs for customer sites are completed.
The Candidate To be successful in your application for this Service Manager role you will need:
  • Proven experience in an electro-mechanical service/maintenance management role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, set targets, and implement strategies to drive revenue.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals, as well as the confidence to challenge and drive improvements.
