Service Manager Location: Staffordshire Salary: £60,000-£70,000 base salary + 40-50% bonus The Company We are currently partnering with a leading global provider of critical power solutions, serving a wide range of customers from large commercial enterprises to the defence industry. This organisation has been operating for over 40 years and are now worth £50million, offering services covering everything from design and manufacturing through to rental and maintenance. Following the acquisition of the business in 2023, the rental operations division alone has seen almost 200% growth and are set to grow by a further £2million in 2025. As a result, they are looking to recruit a Service Manager with immediate effect. The Role The role of Service Manager will involve overseeing and driving the growth of their rental operations division. This is a key role for a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for leading teams and optimizing service delivery in a fast-paced environment. As the Service Manager you will:
- Manage and develop a team of nearly 30 professionals responsible for the rental side of the business, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and service excellence.
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operations, ensuring all projects for rental equipment are properly planned, and all maintenance schedules are prepared to meet customer demands.
- Ensure customer satisfaction across all rental services, from SLA setting and enforcing all contractual agreements, through to ensuring all RAMs for customer sites are completed.
- Proven experience in an electro-mechanical service/maintenance management role.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, set targets, and implement strategies to drive revenue.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals, as well as the confidence to challenge and drive improvements.
- £60,000-£70,000 base salary
