Overview:

Reporting into the Services Lead for Australia & New Zealand, the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in consulting, with a strong focus on delivering client-centric solutions and experience in sales/commercial negotiations. This role involves leading project teams, managing client relationships, and driving business growth for an incredibly exciting area of expansion for World Wide Technology with high exposure and great career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive consultative Services Sales within WWT Australia & New Zealand accounts in your portfolio, increasing Services revenue and profitability.
  2. Lead the overall sales relationship and develop a Services Sales strategy and joint pursuit plan in collaboration with Client Managers/Executives.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key clients to identify new opportunities and grow existing Services.
  4. Generate and qualify leads in partnership with the Account team - develop detailed statements of work for qualified opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with Services delivery organizations to develop accurate, detailed Services scopes, ensuring contractual protection from scope creep and cost overruns.
  6. Identify needs for specialised contingent staff, participating in the vetting process.
  7. Stay updated on ongoing projects' status and profitability, suggesting improvements.
  8. Act as the single point of contact for all Services Sales pursuits in your portfolio.
  9. Work with OEM Services teams and foster relationships with partners and vendors relevant to your portfolio to increase revenue opportunities.
  10. Promote management consulting practices across the WWT team, integrating them with existing WWT strengths.
  11. Promote World Wide Technology Core Values and Corporate Goals.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven consulting and delivery experience with a successful track record in technology Services Sales across various industries including Financial Services, Insurance, Retail and Energy.
  2. Strong skills in consulting, sales, complex deal management, end-to-end project delivery, account management, and business strategy development.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work in international settings and manage geographically diverse teams.
  4. Exceptional C-suite stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  5. Experience in leading and orchestrating business expansion and technology Services consulting, with a focus on market assessments and strategic growth.
  6. Skilled in forecasting, resource planning, and achieving sales targets.
  7. Ability to lead and mentor teams, enhancing deal qualification, selling techniques, and market opportunity evaluations.
  8. Expertise in technical areas such as IT Networking, Cloud (Private/Public), Infrastructure Automation, DevOps, Agile App Development, Cyber-security.
  9. Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with executive and decision-making managers.
  10. Comfortable in a leading-edge technical environment and staying abreast of NextGen technical solutions.
  11. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  12. Ability to work collaboratively, either remotely or in-person in the Sydney office.
  13. Experience in managing Services opportunities to enterprise-level customers with a global reach.
  14. Skilled at account planning, establishing relationships at all levels within the customer's organization, and managing partner relationships.
  15. Ability to profile and qualify target pursuits and drive Services opportunities from qualification to closure.
