We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities. About the project Abergeldie is one of two Construction Partners working with WaterNSW to deliver their Asset, Renewals and Replacement Program (ARRP). Under the ARRP, Abergeldie will deliver multi-disciplinary packages varying in size and complexity, spread across a large geographical footprint across regional New South Wales and Greater Sydney. The scope is vast and includes, but is not limited to, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical minor capital works and rehabilitation. About the opportunity We’re on the lookout for a talented and experienced Electrical Supervisorsto join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this program. Based full time on site, you will work closely with our Project Manager, to provide supervision and coordination of site personnel and subcontractors and drive successful project outcomes. Day to day you will;
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage plant, labour and subcontractors and oversee all construction activities.
- Conduct daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox talks.
- Develop and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), ensuring the safety of our people.
- Perform inspections to identify and manage potential risks.
- Prepare project reports, including budget and program updates.
- Have proven leadership experience with a strong commitment to safety.
- Have in-depth knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and automation systems, with the ability to manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with these systems.
- Ability to set realistic productivity expectations and hold subcontractors accountable for achieving them.
- Demonstrated experience in managing quality expectations with the confidence to evaluate work and ensure it meets Abergeldie standards.
- Be willing to travel to regional NSW and work in remote areas as required (with LAHA provided).
- Be a natural problem solver and someone who enjoys working on complex projects.
