Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Connect division in Melbourne / Sydney who is capable of providing leadership and direction on a range of customer-facing deployments as well as driving technological change with specialized projects within the company. This customer-facing role requires a project manager with a highly professional communication style and an attention to detail. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring follow-through from beginning to end on all assigned projects. Ensures overall progress of assigned project from inception to implementation; review with, and provide consultative advice to management to secure buy-in. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the Project Manager will be involved in building with best practices and resiliency in mind, adhering to agile processes and dealing with business and technology stakeholders.

What you'll do as a Project Manager:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals and customer requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Build the project team based on scope and expectations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure the alignment of deliverables.
  • Coordinate across business segments and facilitate cooperation and project completion.
  • Present recommendations and provide consultative advice to executive management.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
