Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Maintain an accurate and consistent management information reporting system at B/S and P&L level for different line of business, category of product, customer, risk rating, etc. including variance and trend analysis.
2. Maintain the customer profitability reporting systems for CIBG and address the adhoc queries / clarifications from ROs / Division Heads / Group Head.
3. Analyze and provide timely and accurate standard and adhoc MIS to the CIBG senior management and frontline for decision making.
4. Provide support, where required, to Line Manager in the process of formulating Group’s strategic plan (Revenue) and performance management systems.
5. Provide assistance in the process of periodic financial / MBO reviews for selected Divisions / Team / RM and ensure follow up on actionable items agreed to.
6. Analyze business and generate forecasts for the Group in consultation with the Divisional managers.
7. Identify areas of financial inefficiencies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
8. Assist in validation of numbers / assumptions provided by line management for business initiatives and portfolio strategies.
9. Provide back up to Finance Manager – Business Planning & Analysis (CIBG) to ensure smooth support to business.

Qualifications

1. Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce / ACA / MBA
2. Over 5 years experience in Banking including financial reporting and database management.
3. Sound knowledge of financial analysis and planning, accounting and portfolio management with high analytical skills to transform data into meaningful information for decision making.
4. Proven IT skills. Self motivated and dynamic thinker. Creative and committed to success.
