Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Job Brief: The Senior Associate, Performance and Rewards is a key contributor in supporting the design and execution of performance management, rewards, talent development, and succession planning initiatives. This role collaborates with HR leaders and department heads to ensure alignment of individual, team, and organizational goals, fostering a high-performance culture and enhancing employee engagement. Job Responsibilities: i. Performance Management- Coordinate the full lifecycle of performance management, including probationary confirmations, mid-year assessments, and year-end evaluations.
- Assist in developing and implementing frameworks such as OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to drive measurable and strategic employee performance.
- Support the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to help employees address development areas, with clear milestones and follow-ups to track progress.
- Conduct detailed analyses of performance trends and metrics to provide actionable insights that support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver coaching sessions for managers and employees, focusing on performance evaluation techniques, effective feedback delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist in designing and implementing a reward framework that aligns with performance bands and outcomes, encompassing bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs to drive employee engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure that reward structures are competitive, equitable, and aligned with industry benchmarks.
- Collaborate with training teams to conduct skills audits, evaluate workforce capabilities, and maintain a skills matrix to identify and address competency gaps.
- Assist in the development and execution of succession plans to ensure the organization has a robust pipeline of talent for critical roles.
- Coordinate readiness assessments and talent pool evaluations to align employee development with the organization’s long-term goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Professional certifications in HR, such as SHRM-CP or equivalent, are an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in performance management, rewards, or talent development.
- Self-driven, with the ability to work independently as an individual contributor while collaborating effectively with department leaders.
- Experience with HR processes such as performance cycles, PIPs, and succession planning is preferred.
- Familiarity with OKRs, KPIs, and enterprise scorecards is desirable.
- Proficient in analyzing performance metrics and preparing reports to support decision-making.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with top management, managers, and employees.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
