We are seeking a passionate and talented full stack Java developer to join our dynamic IT team. - Proficient in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), multithreading, and exception handling.
- Experience with DB2, IMS, Java, COBOL, PL1, J2EE, and Lambda.
- Knowledge of Openshift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, such as collections, generics, and IO.
- Expertise in Java frameworks like Spring (Core, MVC, Boot, etc.) for building enterprise-level applications.
- Understanding of integration between different technologies.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
- Over ten years’ experience in relevant programming languages.
- Agile working experience is advantageous.
- Lead the refactoring of mainframe applications to Java-based cloud applications as a senior cloud architect.
- Conduct a proof of concept with a small application to select an appropriate code conversion solution.
- Work with feature team members to analyse, design, develop, and test technical products or applications within an agile/DevOps delivery model.
- Maintain, develop, deploy, and operate backend and frontend cross-platform applications based on Java and Angular frameworks.
- Implement robust automated test cases to ensure technical solutions meet expected outcomes and business objectives.
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures, protocols, and required system documentation.
