Senior Accounts Specialist

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at KnowVisory Global. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and handle accounting responsibilities for our US-based clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively. The senior accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial analysis, preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:

1. Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
2. Perform cash and credit card reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
3. Execute monthly close including preparation of financial accounts rollforward schedules and consolidated financial statements
4. Collaborate with the controller to improve accounting policies and procedures, identifying areas for process improvement
5. Manage other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned (i.e., chart of accounts and customer/vendor set-ups, accounting data cleanups, etc.) 

1. Strong understanding of the accrual-based accounting (GAAP), minimal accounting trainings needed
2. Advanced excel skills (i.e., pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, conditional formatting, etc.)
3. Strong problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data or issues clearly
5. Hands on experience with Netsuite is must.
6. Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, focusing on US GAAP.
