Partner and consult with business units regarding learning and development initiatives, aligning with and enabling the achievement of the client's people plan.
Collaborate closely with the Strategic People Partner to support the implementation of strategic HR initiatives by shaping a learning culture and fostering team cohesion in the business.
Providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and support to a defined and dedicated client area, under the guidance and oversight of the Manager: Learning and Development.
Ensure that learning initiatives are implemented in alignment with the strategic objectives set forth by the Head: Strategic People Partnering, actively promoting and aligning strategic objectives within the client area.
What you will bring
Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Education.
At least 3-5 years' experience in one or more areas within Learning and Development, with a strong understanding of HR business acumen.
Stakeholder management, especially engagement at senior management and executive level
Broad experience and proven capability across the L&D skills development landscape; design, development, tools, channels etc./value chain.
Acting as a meta-practitioner, driving innovative practices and serving as a thought leader in the field of Learning and Development.
Working in collaboration with the Strategic People Partner (SPP) to formulate BU budgets and align learning initiatives.
Experience in building and developing effective teams
Minumum
At least 3 years' experience in one or more areas within Learning and Development
Stakeholder management, especially engagement at senior management and executive level
Broad experience and proven capability across the Learning and development skills development landscape; design, development, tools, channels etc.

What you will be doing
Build effective relationships with the client and other key stakeholders (Strategic People Partners, Talent Acquisition, L&D teams) that facilitate and enable delivery of learning needs.
Work closely with the Manager: Learning and Development and the Strategic People Partner to ensure alignment with the strategic vision set by the Head: Strategic People Partnering. Actively promote and align strategic objectives within the client area.
Responsible for identifying and assessing the learning and development needs using a performance analysis approach (work, worker, workplace).
Collaborate with the Strategic People Partner in executing performance analysis, determining contributing factors, and applying insights gained in an integrated solution design.
Utilise data analytics and learning metrics to identify trends and gaps in skills, proactively designing solutions to address these gaps.
Hold responsibility for the design, development and delivery of quality learning and development programmes that meet the learning need requirements of the client.
Maintain a close relationship with Learning Delivery teams and coordinate and provide oversight to ensure the supply by the delivery teams of learning design and facilitation projects.
Adjust execution, partnering, support and delivery provisions based on the size, scope and type of learning solution/programme.
Evaluate learning effectiveness of the learning and development initiatives and solutions - assist with the monitoring and evaluation plans
