Web Developer Job Description My Cloud Crew is a Talent as a Service provider that offers businesses access to a virtual remote team with specialized expertise in digital marketing, paid ads marketing, virtual assistance, financial control, and web development. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer to join our team. Job Responsibilities: 1. Website Deployment & Management ● Launch and configure new websites, ensuring smooth deployment. ● Move websites between servers and domains with minimal downtime. ● Manage website hosting, security, and performance optimization. 2. Backend Troubleshooting & Maintenance ● Diagnose and resolve backend issues related to code, plugins, and integrations. ● Debug and fix technical errors that impact website functionality. ● Maintain and optimize databases for performance and reliability. ● Solve Website/Wordpress Performance issues 3. Server & Domain Management ● Configure and manage website servers (e.g., cPanel, Cloudflare, AWS, DigitalOcean) . ● Set up and manage DNS settings, SSL certificates, and domain configurations. ● Monitor server health and perform regular maintenance. 4. Automation & Integration ● Create and maintain Zapier connections between websites, CRMs, and third-party applications. ● Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows to improve efficiency. 5. Technical Support & Problem-Solving ● Provide technical support for website-related issues. ● Identify and fix issues affecting website connections to CRMs, email marketing platforms, and third-party tools. ● Maintain documentation for processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices. Required Technical Skills & Knowledge: 1. Web Development & CMS ● Strong experience with WordPress (custom themes, plugins, troubleshooting). ● Knowledge of Shopify, Webflow, or other CMS platforms (preferred but not required). ● Ability to work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for debugging and customization. 2. Server & Hosting Management ● Experience with cPanel, Plesk, Cloudflare, and web hosting service s. ● Knowledge of Linux server administration and command-line basics . ● Understanding of DNS, domain transfers, and SSL certificates 3. Automation & Integrations ● Strong proficiency with Zapier and other automation tool s. ● Experience with API integrations between websites, CRMs, and marketing tools. ● Familiarity with webhooks and data transfer methods. 4. Debugging & Technical Troubleshooting ● Experience identifying and resolving WordPress plugin conflicts. ● Proficiency in debugging JavaScript, PHP, and AP I connection issues. ● Ability to troubleshoot CRM integrations and marketing automation workflows. Schedule: 20 or 40 hours per week between 8am – 5pm CST
