Job Description: After-Sales Engineer (Remote – India) We are looking for a skilled and motivated After-Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of non-standard automation equipment used in lithium battery manufacturing. This position requires extensive travel across India to support customer sites and provide technical expertise. Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Equipment Support : Perform proactive inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of customer equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Installation & Commissioning : Lead the setup, installation, and commissioning of non-standard automation systems at various industrial locations.
- Technical Training : Conduct training sessions for customer maintenance personnel and outsourced installation teams, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
- Customer Relationship Management : Act as a key point of contact for customers, addressing technical issues and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Service Documentation & Compliance : Maintain accurate records of service activities, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Sales & Business Development Support : Identify opportunities for contract renewals, upgrades, and additional service offerings to enhance customer relationships.
- Tool & Equipment Management : Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of tools and test equipment used for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Educational Background : Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering (or related field).
- Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems , with experience in troubleshooting and repairing non-standard automation equipment.
- Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Flexibility & Travel : Willingness to travel extensively across India for on-site service, installations, and support.
- Regulatory Compliance : Knowledge of safety standards, health regulations, and environmental requirements .
- Extensive travel across India to customer sites.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced industrial environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
