Job Position : Devops Engineer Experience : 4 + Years Notice period : 0-15 Days Job Location : Kochi (Remote Option Available ) Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented DevOps Service Desk Specialist to join our global DevOps team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing service desk operations, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting automation workflows to ensure operational excellence for enterprise IT projects. The position will involve providing 24/7 support for mission-critical application environments, particularly for leading automotive industry clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management :
  • Monitor and respond promptly to tickets raised by the DevOps team or end-users.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for incidents, maintain detailed incident logs, track SLAs, and prepare comprehensive root cause analysis reports.
  • Change & Problem Management :
  • Assist with scheduled changes, releases, and maintenance activities.
  • Identify, track, and resolve recurring issues to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
  • Documentation & Communication :
  • Maintain accurate process documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on incidents, resolutions, and system status.
  • On-Call Duty :
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support, handling incidents outside regular office hours.
  • Escalate incidents and coordinate with onsite teams, customers, and third-party vendors as necessary.
  • Tool & Platform Support :
  • Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab, as well as container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Support cloud services (AWS, Azure) to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.
Key Requirements:
  • Technical Experience :
  • Proficiency in Java Enterprise environments, with experience as a developer or DevOps specialist.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience with service desk tools, especially ServiceNow.
  • Skills :
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
  • Optional Experience :
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT process frameworks such as SCRUM and ITIL.
