Job Description To make the community aware about the various initiatives of DBM India in order to increase the Student Admissions in courses being provided by the DBM India centers. With this objective in mind, establishing good working relationships with community leaders and members . Responsibilities Community Engagement

  • Community visits and Interacting with Community leaders
  • To keep in touch with student alumni and track and report their wellbeing to DBM
  • To collect feedback from community
Partnership
  • Periodic Meetings with local NGOs and civil society organisations
  • Explore mutual synergies with community leaders for maximum impacts to DBM programmes
Reporting
  • Submission of Daily report and other DBM reports as needed
  • Attend DBM meetings regularly
  • Report daily work progress and status at the centre
  • To perform tasks as and when given by Centre Co-ordinator eg: field surveys, marketing, events etc
Communication
  • To spread awareness of DBM programmes to attract maximum participation
  • To visit homes of the irregular/dropout students
  • To keep in touch with student alumni and track and report their wellbeing to DBM
Eligibility
  • Expected Education Qualification- Minimum SSC pass, Bachelor in Social Work(BSW) would be highly preferable, Any Professional Certificates in Social Development would be a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Computer, Internet and mobile devices
Past Work Experience
  • At least 2 years of field work experience with a NGO / Community Organizations in Social Development sector
  • Past experience of mobilization and organisation’s out-reach programmes preferred
Skills & Abilities
  • Efficient communication skills and the ability to reach out to the communities.
  • Community mobilization and comfort in local languages like Marathi, Hindi & English.
  • Ability to work in a team and take instructions,
  • Passion to align oneself with the organizational goals and vision.
  • Good attitude to learn and adapt new things at work
Working Conditions
  • 8 Hours, 6 Days a Week.
  • Should be flexible to attend in-person and remote work meetings as required by team
  • Location: Trombay, Mumbai
  • CTC: 25000/- to 30000/- per month
