Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai office: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Specialist to join our team as a key member of the Management Information department As a Power BI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making and provide valuable insights to stakeholders. Additionally, proficiency in Excel, SQL and Access database, VBA development, Power Apps, and Power Automate will be essential for this role. What is in it for you? • Opportunity to enhance your knowledge in Insurance/Reinsurance broking • As a Specialist, you will have the opportunity to analyze and interpret data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders • Exposure to different business functions and departments, which can broaden your understanding of the organization as a whole • Opportunity to work with global leads on various initiatives (process improvement, automation) We will count on you for: • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions. • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. • Utilize Excel, SQL, and Access database skills to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI for analysis and visualization. • Develop VBA macros and automation solutions to enhance data processing and reporting capabilities. • Leverage Power Apps and Power Automate to create custom applications and automate workflows for data collection, analysis, and reporting. • Create and optimize data models, data connections, and data transformations to ensure accurate and efficient data analysis. • Perform data analysis and data profiling using SQL to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions for data cleansing and data governance. • Collaborate with data engineers and data architects to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of data sources and data pipelines. • Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, Excel functions, SQL queries, and industry trends to continuously improve the reporting and analytics capabilities.
