Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced ESG and Decarbonization Expert to lead and support strategy development and implementation of advanced decarbonization solutions across a range of climate sectors and technologies employed by corporations and funds. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver sound technical recommendations and actionable strategies that drive lasting ESG compatibility and climate impact for clients. Further, this role will focus on integration of cutting-edge decarbonization solutions into corporate operations. Key Responsibilities:

• ESG Integration Strategy and Implementation:

o Conduct materiality assessments and ESG due diligence and integrate ESG into business strategies of corporates and responsible investment strategies of funds aligned with industry benchmarks and regulatory requirements. o Design and implement ESG frameworks aligned with global sustainability standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD). o Provide ESG training and capacity development support to stakeholders. o Provide ESG and sustainability reporting support to the clients.

• Decarbonization Strategy and Implementation:

o Identify suitable climate technologies for corporations to meet their decarbonization goals. o Develop and recommend strategy for deep decarbonization, incorporating global standards such as the GHG Protocol and relevant Scope 2 and Scope 3 guidance. o Work closely with the corporations and SMEs to support the implementation of their decarbonization strategies. o Contribute to the development and refinement of internal decarbonization policies, procedures, and implementation frameworks of the clients. o Provide technical training to stakeholders on implementing decarbonization technologies and processes. Education: At least an advanced degree in Engineering, Climate/Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field. Essential Competencies: o In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and climate disclosure requirements. o Strong expertise in decarbonization technologies, strategies and international benchmarks. Deep understanding of nature-based solutions for decarbonization, adaptation, and resilience. o Proven track record in implementing decarbonization strategies and monitoring carbon reduction initiatives for corporates. o Strong background in carbon accounting, decarbonization tools, and climate impact measurement methodologies (e.g., GHG Protocol). Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional work experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG consulting, corporate sustainability, or environmental management with corporations or investors; corporate decarbonization strategy development, advising and building capacity on implementation of decarbonization strategies, and application of GHG measurement methodologies.
